A 28-BORE PERCUSSION ANTI-GARROTTE BELT GUN, a presumed late 19th Century copy of a circa 1860 Henry Ball patent anti-garrotte belt gun, brass with presumably recycled parts from an earlier percussion gun, crudely stamped with a 'ML' trademark and 'ET. FILS.', the originals were worn on the back with a cord tied to the trigger that could be pulled if the wearer was attacked from behind, 7 in. length
